Come back to nature...
Lake Katherine Nature Center and Botanic Gardens!
Lake Katherine Nature Center and Botanic Gardens is an 85-acre non-profit park that includes woodlands, prairie, wetlands, gardens and a 10-acre lake.
An estimated 100,000 people come to the park each year to hike, jog, walk their dogs or to simply enjoy the beauty of the gardens and the abundant opportunities to see wildlife. In the warmer months Lake Katherine has canoes and kayaks to rent and our newly completed section of the Cal-Sag Trail provides a beautiful cycling route for nature lovers. Our nature center features a menagerie of reptiles and animals. We also have a children's play area located in the Children's Forrest.
Hours of Operation: The park is open daily from dawn until dusk. The nature center is open weekdays from 9am to 5pm and Saturdays from 10am to 4pm.
