Herb Garden
 The Herb Garden at Lake Katherine contains large collections of herbs used for culinary, dye, fragrance, medicinal, and several other purposes. Over 75 varieties of herbs delight the senses when you visit our wonderful garden.
The herb garden is in a raised bed on the west side of the nature center and is planted with an assortment of perennial herbs: several varieties of mint, tarragon, lemon balm, lavender, thyme, lamb's ears, garlic chives, sage, rosemary, and more. Annual plants include marigolds, coriander, chervil, chives, oregano, basil, and dill.
The entrance to the herb garden is graced by an arbor dedicated to the memory of Herb LaSalle.
