 After-School Programs AvailableAll current programs have a min/max of 3/10 children, and cost $5.00 per child. Includes many summertime programs as well for Grades K-2 and 3-5. 1 hour programs. Grades K-2 activities:
Mini green houses – Make your own green house to take home and care for. Grow a variety of seeds. Day Date Time Wednesday June 2 1-2pm Thursday June 3 3:45-4:45pm Lovely Ladybugs- These lovebugs don’t bite! Make your own ladybug craft, go on a bug hunt and have a snack. Day Date Time Wednesday June 16 1-2pm Thursday June 17 3-4pm A Fancy Nancy Tea Party Join us for tea, make a fabulous snack and a marvelous craft. Day Date Time Wednesday June 30 1-2:30pm Along the Shore – Yes it’s that time again! Put on those rubber boots and hike up the waterfall looking for treasures. Day Date Time Wednesday July 7 1-2pm Thursday July 8 3-4pm
Inside fruit –Discover what is in our summer fruits. A craft and a hike included. Day Date Time Wednesday July 28 1-2pm Thursday July 29 3-4pm Get wise on Butterflies – Learn all about butterflies today. Make a craft and hunt for butterflies. Day Date Time Wednesday August 11 1-2pm Thursday August 12 3-4pm
Sandy Hand Mosaics – Preserve your handy treasures in a handy display. Bring some of your own trinkets and we’ll have some too! Day Date Time Wednesday August 18 1-2pm Thursday August 19 3-4pm Going buggy – After looking at crickets indoors we’ll journey out to the prairie and herb garden to see who else has six legs and three body parts. Sing a buggy song and make a buggy project too. Day Date Time Thursday August 26 3:45-4:45pm
Most After School programs are an hour long. Part of our time will be spent outdoors. Please dress appropriately for the weather (hats, boots, coats, raincoats, sunscreen and insect repellent, etc.) Cost: $5.00/person Min/Max: 3/10
