 Children's ProgramsOpen the world to a child. With a few tools and the right environment, a child will naturally want to explore. Along the way, they will develop respect for the earth, others, and themselves. Lake Katherine has a variety of subjects for grown-ups and pre-school age children to discover together, as well as many after-school programs. A Fun And Exciting Way to Learn About Nature! Little Explorers 1 hour programs for adults and their 3-6 year old children. Pre-registration and payment are required. Space is limited. All programs will be held at the Lake Katherine Environmental Learning Center. Reservations are required for all programs. Registration and payment for programs must be made in person at Lake Katherine no later than the Monday before the program. (NO TELEPHONE REGISTRATION ACCEPTED). Space is limited. After-School Programs 1 hour long programs for school age children. Grades K-2 and 2-4. Pre-registration and payment are required. Summer Camp Programs Participants must register for summer camp programs by the Thursday preceding the camp's start date. The cost is $85 per participant, and each camp program runs for one week. Camps require a minimum of 6 participants to take place, with a maximum of 12 participants in each group.
