Family Activities  Lake Katherine is a beautiful, fun-filled place to enjoy some quality family time! Programs will be held at the Lake Katherine Nature Center. Reservations are required for all programs. Registration and payment must be made one week before the program by mail or in person at Lake Katherine. NO TELEPHONE REGISTRATIONS ARE ACCEPTED. Click here for a pdf version of our current brochure. Available Programs: Hayrides Hayrides have come to Lake Katherine! Come on out for a picturesque 30 minute ride with our expert driver, Jack. Tours will commence in 30 minute intervals starting at 11:00 and ending at 1:30. Cost: $1, children under 2 are free Ages: all 11:00am- 1:30pm Call 708-361-1873 for availability Wednesdays Go Wild at Lake Katherine Drop in at anytime and do a different nature-related project each week during the holiday break.
