Youth Groups/Scouting
Lake Katherine Nature Center and Botanic Gardens provides fun and engaging programs for youth groups including Girl Scouts and Boy Scout troops.
Programs can be tailored to meet specific rank and badge requirements. Self-guided tours are also welcome, groups of 15 or more must check-in at the nature center.
Volunteer opportunities for youth groups with adult supervision can also be arranged.

Eagle Scout Projects
 To earn the Eagle Scout rank, the highest advancement rank in Scouting, a Boy Scout must fulfill requirements in the areas of leadership, service, and outdoor skills. One of these requirements is your demonstration of leadership skills. You do so by planning and carrying out an Eagle Scout Leadership Service Project.Looking to do an Eagle Scout Project? We can work with you to develop a great leadership opportunity. Lake Katherine needs help with building benches, boardwalks, bridges and more.

Girl Scout Gold Award Project
 The Girl Scout Gold Award is the highest award that a Senior Girl Scout may earn. The Gold Award symbolizes exceptional achievement in the completion of a project that encompasses organizational, leadership, and networking skills.A Girl Scout Gold Award project should involve planning, leadership and decision making and focus on addressing a real need in your community.
