Winterfest
Saturday, February 4, 2017 from 12pm-4pm
They'll be fun aplenty at our annual winter festival with tractor rides, candle-making, crafts, petting animals, snow shoe rentals and ice rescue demonstrations. $5 entry tickets sold on the day. No fee for children two and under.

Spring Fishing
Saturday, April 8, 2017 from 7am-Noon
Fish the entire shore for muskie, catfish, walleye and bass during our catch and release fundraiser. $100 a ticket for fishing, food and refreshments.

Nature & Literature Festival
Saturday, April 29, 10am - 3pm
NEW FOR 2017! Join Lake Katherine for a festival celebrating all things nature and literature. More information coming soon!

Chicago River Day
Saturday May 13, 9am - noon
Join the Friends Of Chicago River in a clean-up day at Lake Katherine. Volunteers will help remove invasive species and pick up trash around the park.

Native Plant Sale
Saturday, May 13, 2017, 10am-2pm
Join us for a Native Plant Sale fundraiser. We will have a variety of native wildflowers and grasses for sale.

Break for the Lake 5K Trail Race
Sunday, May 21, 2017 from 8a-11am
Get the blood pumpin' - join us for our annual trail race around Lake Katherine! Sign up here!

Family Fishing Day
Saturday, June 3, 2017 from 8am-3pm
Enjoy family fun fishing the south shore during our catch and release fundraiser. All day [$25] and half day [$15] available. Fishing sessions will run from 8am to 11am and noon to 3pm. First and second place trophies will be awarded for the largest bass, catfish, muskie, and walleye.

July 3rd Bash
Monday, July 3, 2017 from 7pm-10pm
Join us for the official Palos Heights’ Independence Day celebrations. The firework display begins at dusk and there is free entry for all. Optional tickets available for a gathering in the clubhouse starting at 7pm [includes drinks and light snacks].

Monarch Butterfly Festival
Sunday, September 17, 11am-4.30pm
Enjoy the unique and magical experience of walking through our butterfly tent! We will also have face-painting, live animals, an arts & crafts fair, children's crafts, storytime, scarecrow making, food & drnk vendors and an education tent.

Fall Fishing Classic
Saturday, October 14, 7am - noon
Fish the entire shore during this one day catch and release fundraiser. A donation of $100 per competitor includes lunch at noon and there are prizes for the biggest catch of the day.
