Be a Volunteer
Volunteers are essential members of the Lake Katherine team and we are always looking for dedicated individuals or groups to help with our mission to “connect people with nature.” Whether you’re someone with a passion for nature, a high school or college student hoping to gain new skills, a recent retiree looking for something new, or have a group of people looking to contribute to the community, we have something for almost everyone.
In order to protect the health and safety of our community, employees, visitors, and their families from COVID-19, Lake Katherine is currently requiring all applicants to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
Individual Volunteer Opportunities
Do you enjoy visiting Lake Katherine, but want to get more involved? Consider volunteering and become a part of our team.
We are always welcoming new volunteers, so whether you’re someone with a passion for nature, a high school or college student hoping to gain new skills, or a recent retiree looking for something new, we have something for almost everyone.
Volunteers commit to twenty hours of service per year, typically done as weekly or biweekly shifts. Most volunteer opportunities are Monday through Friday during our business hours, however Saturday opportunities are available for certain positions after gaining experience.
Volunteers with twenty or more service hours in the last twelve months are eligible for a variety of benefits, including free classes, discounted rentals, and an invitation to our annual volunteer recognition dinner.
To apply please complete our Volunteer Application Form below. If you have questions about volunteering, please contact Chris Mannix.
Please complete this form and bring it with you if you will be coming in to complete service hours or will be volunteering with us for a one-day event. Find the Day Wavier form (PDF)
Please fill out and return our application if you are interested in volunteering with Lake Katherine on an on-going basis.
